The new treatment developed exclusively by our specialists, for their clients, has the objective of repairing the skin of the face, especially with regard to the elimination of blemishes as a result of hormonal disorders.

Vitamin C peel

The indications for this treatment are:

  • Melasma

  • chloasma

  • hyperpigmentation on the face

  • lentigines on the face

  • Alteration of the damaged texture of the skin after the summer

Facial melasma especially affects pregnant women or women undergoing hormonal therapy, contraceptives or excessive sun exposure. The influence of hereditary factors has also been proven. In many cases it is aggravated because there is no awareness of the use of sunscreen, especially in areas where the ozone layer is weakened. It is advisable to visit a specialist to evaluate, diagnose and recommend treatment.

Melasma is a pigmentation problem that especially affects the face. These irregular, café-au-lait-colored spots usually appear on the upper lip, cheeks, and central region of the forehead.

Although the exact cause is not known, everything indicates that it has a clear hormonal nature. This means that, among the many hormones that are manufactured within our body, there are some that induce the synthesis of melanin (brown pigment). This alteration leads to situations in which with a small exposure to the sun, it causes immediate spots.

And precisely, because it is a hormonal problem, the treatments that can be carried out on the skin reduce or eliminate the existing pigment, but the slightest neglect of care or treatment leads to its reappearance. For this reason, it must be understood that melasma treatments improve it, treat it, but do not cure it, since they cannot eliminate the cause.

In certain exceptional cases, a thyroid or other alteration can be found that, corrected by the specialist, leads to a resolution of the melasma.

The application of the depigmenting peeling is done by first washing the patient's face as in any other peeling, and applying a thick layer of the peeling mask (Vit C Peel), in such a way that the surface of the affected skin cannot be seen. due to hyperpigmentation, be they lentigines, melasma, chloasma and other pigmented lesions.

Several depigmentants are applied in the form of a mask. The Vit C Peel mask must remain on the patient's skin for 4 to 6 hours depending on the intensity of its pigmentation. It removes a large amount of pigment accumulated in the skin, thus improving its appearance. There is a peeling of the skin that lasts about two days.
